In Love Always

Blessings and Aloha

As you may have guessed, I am a pastor blessed to live in a special place created by God called Hawaii. And blessed to have led a church in Honolulu. But now I’m retired… from the church, not the ministry. As a dear friend once reminded me, no one in the Bible ever got to retire.

If you are new to my website, here you will find a collection of my devotionals. The earlier ones were those emailed to friends and family in the midst of the pandemic. Before retiring, I would send short little weekly messages to the church. Friends were asking that I start writing again.

Why? Because with the pandemic came a time when churches were open, but no one went. A time when online messages had lost their luster, so no one watched. A time when many were drifting from our Lord. This was my small way of helping us keep pace with our Lord.

Now you may be thinking, why read these – they’re dated. Not really. Let me remind us that satan never stops creating distractions and destruction. His tricks and schemes never change. He just gives it a new name. The types of challenges and fears we had during the Covid years still affect our lives today.

Let me close with an explanation of why I call my website and end all my emails with the valediction – In love always. It’s because all are written with love for my readers. My reason for writing started out of love for the well-being of others. And they will continue in love as long as God is willing.

In love always,

Pastor Dale
